 This week's theme is "Collections".
I have several collections, each illustrated below:
I've mentioned this before but I collect vintage artist-signed Mexican silver jewelry from the 1940'-50s. Below is just a handful of my pieces. Some more of my collection (not all though because I haven't photographed it all) can be seen here.
I also like to collect unique frog figurines and other froggy related items. I'm rather picky but I've still managed to find some great pieces! If you look around my house, you'll find them hidden everywhere! The picture below is the majority of my figurines. I also have a couple of frog t-shirts, a small decorative lamp in the shape of a frog, a bunch of beanie frogs as well as a frog-shaped magnifying glass, a frog pitcher, a couple of soap dispensers with frogs, a planter with a frog and several frog candle holders. Throw in a calendar, some books and various frog-related miscellaneous items and you can see that this is my biggest collection of the three.
Last but not least is my floaty pen collection. I have over 200 pens that I have either brought back from my travels or have had friends bring back for me. A small number have been bought on-line but not that many. I also have some floaty related items that are not pens such as lighters and key chains, all featuring a float scene. And yes, I have the infamous "tip-n-strip" pens and even some toothbrushes with both guys and girls stripping!

This week's theme is "Motion".
Back in late February, my friend E.J. gave me the opportunity to fly in a small Cessna over Houston with him and a friend (they flew, not me). Below is one of the blurry pictures I took while flying over Downtown. It was a beautiful night and we have a nice skyline so I was thrilled! In this particular shot you see the blurred outlines of the Continental Center (blue top) and the Wedge International Tower (green lights).

To celebrate the arrival of Jennifer's new baby, this week's theme is "Babies".
I have no children, so these cute pictures of my "girls" in bed on a lazy Sunday morning will have to do! Don't Ginger (brown dachshund) and Heidi (beige cockapoo) look relaxed and cozy on that down comforter? Trust me, we were all were cozy and comfortable! These are some of my favorite times - when my husband and I can stay in bed late, be lazy and cuddle with the dogs and each other...
